ECL coal robbery case: CBI searches three locations in Delhi, West Bengal

News Express: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today investigated three locations in Delhi and West Bengal over allegations of coal mining in the Eastern Coalfields Ltd (ECL) mines in Asansol, officials said. During the time of operation, former ECL director residence in Dwarka; and the general manager residence of the public sector unit at Asansol in West Bengal 


 and the residence of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was registered at the NTPC in Farakka in West Bengal. The coal-mining scam is linked to the Eastern Coalfields Ltd mines located in West Bengal in the areas of Kunustoria and Kajora. The CBI registered MOTO in November last year against the alleged pilferage racket king, Anup Manjhi named Lala; 

ECL General Managers Amit Kumar Dhar and Jayesh Chandra Rai; ECL Security Manager Tanmay Das; Kunustoria area security inspector Dhananjay Rai; and Kajor area administration Debashish Mukherjee.
