Dinesh Phadnis on ventilator but did not suffer a heart attack, Says 'Daya'

Express News: Due to his poor health, Dinesh Phadnis, who portrayed Freddy (Fredricks) in the hit television series CID, has been in the news. According to recent reports, Dinesh was admitted to the hospital following a suspected cardiac arrest. Dayanand Shetty, his co-star in CID, has now clarified something regarding Dinesh's health. Dayanand stated in a Pinkvilla interview that Dinesh is experiencing liver damage rather than a heart attack. The actor's condition is critical, he continued. 

Dayanand provides an update on Dinesh Phadnis' health. 

Dayanand Shetty, who portrayed Daya in CID, responded to rumors that Dinesh Phadnis had suffered a heart attack by saying, "First off, it wasn't a heart attack; rather, it was liver damage, which is why he was taken to Tunga Hospital, Malad, right away. He has been extremely critical for the past two days. I also discovered this morning (Sunday) that there hasn't been much of an improvement. We're hoping he recovers quickly."

He went on, "Dinesh was receiving treatment for another illness, but the medication had a negative impact on his liver. It is always advised to take medications extremely carefully because of this. One never knows when taking medication for one condition could lead to another serious illness. When using allopathic medications, one should exercise extreme caution."

The entire CID team is "quite thick and close," Dayanand said in response to a question about his communication with Dinesh Phadnis. He went on, "We have 'little reunions' where the crew and actors get together often." They "were always in touch," he claimed. 

Career of Dinesh Phadnis Dinesh 

was a cast member of CID for nearly twenty years, and he became well-known for playing Fredericks. One of the longest-running television programs in India, CID debuted in 1998 and was led by actor Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman. For twenty years, Sony TV aired the series. In addition to CID, Dinesh had a brief cameo in the popular television series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.In a few movies, he has also played supporting roles. Dinesh appeared in Hindi motion pictures including Super 30 and Sarfarosh.
