Express News: Shubham Kumar tops as UPSC civil services final results declared. The Union Public Service Commission has announced the UPSC Public Service Outcome 2020. Applicants who have appeared for testing can check the results on the UPSC official site at upsc.gov.in. Shubham Kumar from Bihar who studied at IIT Bombay is still at the forefront of the test.

Jagrati Awasthi took second place. Ankita Jain, Yash Jaluka and Mamta Yadav are in third, fourth and fifth place respectively. Preliminary examinations were conducted in October 2020. The main examinations were conducted by the Commission from January 8 to January 17, 2021. Students who passed the main examinations were called for an interview round. 

Interviews or candidates for the Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and other Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B') are held from August 2 to September 22, 2021. nominees recommended for nomination. The appointment of various services will be based on the number of vacancies available through the consideration provided in the Examination Rules. 

Voting for 151 temporarily recommended students. A recruitment drive to fill 836 vacancies out of 180 for the I.A.S, 36 for the I.F.S, 200 for the I.P.S, 302 for Central Services Group A and 118 for Group B Services. Candidates' marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of the announcement of the result.
